Real Estate Transactions ◊ Real Estate Litigation
If you are planning on buying or selling residential or commercial real estate, you want an experienced lawyer to help you through the process. Real estate transactions can be complex and confusing, involving detailed title descriptions and other documents. You want a lawyer who understands real estate law, one who has successfully handled real estate matters for years.
At the offices of Wade A. Williams, we have over 19 years of hands-on experience in residential and commercial real estate. We built our successful practice on a commitment to responsiveness and personalized attention. We will answer all phone calls or e-mails in a timely manner, and will make certain that you always understand your options, so that you can make sound decisions.
Our Real Estate Practice
We handle all matters related to the purchase or sale of residential or commercial real estate, from the negotiation of terms to the closing. We will prepare a buy-sell agreement for you, and once terms have been agreed upon, we will draft the documents necessary to complete the transaction, including deeds, mortgages, notes and other financing instruments, easements and restrictive covenants. We will also review the proposed closing statement in advance and will appear on your behalf at the closing, so that your interests will be protected.
We represent individuals and businesses in litigation involving real estate, such as breach of contract, boundary or easement disputes, foreclosure actions and title controversies. We own a title company and have extensive experience with the legal issues that affect title. We also handle disputes involving residential and commercial leasing, including evictions.
